Yunxi Ye
Yunxi(Lucy) Ye is a graphic designer currently based in New York. She recently earned her MFA in Graphic Design from Boston University.

Her practice combines a take-it-easy openness with structured, verb-led experimentation, exploring how everyday actions and tools shape visual communication. Working across typography, publication design, visual identity, and interactive media, she creates participatory and performative systems that translate physical action into visual and collective experience.

Boston University Thesis Exhibition 2026
Visual Identityhyper.txt is the Boston University MFA Thesis Exhibition 2026, for which I designed the main poster. The visual elements are derived from the structural components used in the exhibition—tubes and 3D joints. By translating these elements into a visual language, they form the foundation of the layout. In terms of composition, I kept the structure flexible, allowing elements to combine and extend across the page freely. This creates a sense of jump between pieces of information, rather than a linear reading sequence.
