Yunxi Ye
Yunxi(Lucy) Ye is a graphic designer currently based in New York. She recently earned her MFA in Graphic Design from Boston University.

Her practice combines a take-it-easy openness with structured, verb-led experimentation, exploring how everyday actions and tools shape visual communication. Working across typography, publication design, visual identity, and interactive media, she creates participatory and performative systems that translate physical action into visual and collective experience.

Measuring a book of books

Publication
This project measures books using everyday objects as informal units of reference—phones for size, apples for weight, fingers for margins, and pockets for portability. By replacing standardized measurements with bodily and domestic scales, the work reframes how books are valued, experienced, and understood through everyday interactions.
